Our Mark

Our logo icon is harmonious. It embodies everything we stand for,
everything we do, and everything we hope to achieve. Inspired by sound waves from the KORA instrument, this symbol communicates that our brand is a harmonious wave our customers far and near can ride on.

Our Mark in Monochrome

There are some things that thrive on ‘minimal colour’ like laser engravings. On such things, the monochrome version of our logo icon feels right at home.

Perfect Duo

To complement our symbol, our logotype is written in Outfit semibold; a minimal yet striking font. Its letter "r" is modified such that it gives the logotype a more cohesive feel.

Perfect Duo in Monochrome

Our full logo (logotype and symbol) sit better together. So for platforms that require minimal ink, this monochrome version works best.

In the Right Measure

For immediate brand recognition, it’s important for our symbol to be visible at all times and on designs across various media.

With that in mind, its optimally visible height is set at 40 pixels, and can be extended beyond this depending on design contexts.

Even More Room to Thrive

The space between our symbol and logotype in a full logo is determined by 1⁄2 of ‘x’ where ‘x’ stands for the width or height of the bottom arc of the Kora symbol.

However, the length between the top or bottom of our logotype and the top or bottom of our symbol is determined by ‘x - (x/9)’ where the value of ‘x’ is the same as above.

Minimal spaces around the full logo when used with other elements in a design are determined by ‘x’.

Inked in Harmony

The brand’s primary colours are in two different shades of blue and to complement these, neutral pastel colours are incorporated as secondary colours for use on various media and design contexts.

Primary Colours

Other secondary but non-pastel colours are added to the palette to give the brand an air of youthfulness and vibrance in various design contexts that demand this. These colours have
earthy tones that help tell the Kora story.
